TRF Series
<1> Definition of product name
ThermoRewrite layer is coated on PET film. This type has no magnetic recording layer on the other side of PET film. TRF series has been mainly used for plastic card application such as non contact IC card for ski ticket, membership cards, ID cards which are usually manufactured by lamination process or injection process. However the application of ThermoRewrite film is not limited to card applications. ThermoRewrite film can be used in TAG application, information board, label and so on.

< Type of product >
F -> Roll of rewritable film
FS -> Sheet form of TRF
GF -> Roll of film with glue for lamination on back side
GS -> Sheet with glue for lamination on back side
GT -> Tape with glue for lamination on back side.
*Glue type 1 or no indication -> Standard glue for PVC, PET-G. ( It is not perfect for PET but is may be applicable depending on customers criterion. )
*Glue type 2 -> For PET film but also for PVC and PET-G.

< Caliper >
This number means the sum of the thickness of rewritable layer ( 10 micron meter ) and the thickness of base film.

< Base film >
T -> Transparent PET film
W -> White PET film

< Formulation >
A -> Standard type, mainly blue image, black is also available
B -> Only for TRG series. Then this type is no longer available for TRF series
C -> This is for black image with high optical density. It is not standards product yet for TRF series. ( TRCGBBBS in TRG series is similar material and , in this case, this formulation has been already standards product)

< Dye color>
C or no indication -> Blue color image
B -> Black color image

TRF
Only rewritable layer is coated on PET base. This is kind of raw material. Then you need to put glue on the back side of PET base film for lamination if needed. The form of product is roll. Any width of roll is available from 500 mm to 680 mm.

TRFS
This is sheet type product cut down from TRF. The dimension of sheet is flexible.

TRGF
The glue is coated on the back side of TRF. Currently two type of glue are available. (Please see the list below for more information of glue. ) TRFG is roll type product with layer structure below. Any width of roll is available from 500 mm to 680 mm.

TRGS
The sheet type product cut down from TRGF.

TRGT
TRGT is the tape slit from TRGF. Width of tape is flexible.
